How does the rest of my plan look? It is pretty much Lambonius's install order but with a couple of added steps like the Better Dialog Font and the cleaned mini-expansions. I guess that makes the BTB Edit version of 1.6.5 obsolete then?

There are a ton of modular options, so it's possible that you may be able to disable a lot of the system-taxing effects and still get a relatively decent frame-rate. You might want to try out MGE XE, just to see if your computer can handle it-MGE XE's default water effects look MUCH better than the ones MGE, and XE's GUI is a little easier to follow. I have version 3.8.0b, not the XE version, due to my old PC.Ĩ) Apply the DelayedDBattacks plug-in to delay Tribunal.ġ0) Apply the cleaned and fixed mini-expansion data files.ġ1) Start the Morrowind launcher and turn on the plug-in files for the above.ġ2) Start a new game. Does this look good?ġ) Install Morrowind from the GOG.com installer and run it once to create the necessary config files.ģ) Install the Better Dialog Font plug-in.Ĥ) Install Timeslip's Morrowind EXE Optimizer.ĥ) Apply a 4GB patch (from ntcore) to allow the game executable to address additional memory.Ħ) Install the Morrowind Patch Project (I found a fixed v1.6.5 beta - by BTB I think).ħ) Install the Morrowind Graphics Extender (MGE). Korell: Okay, taking various information from the above, I've got the following list. When you want to play Tribunal, simply activate it (but I wouldn't recommend Tribunal to inexperienced players, although technically you could play it at level 1). Once you have more experience with the game, you can understand better what the plug-in's do and decide which ones to use (if at all). The Master Index plug-in + Journalfix are nice, but not necessary to enjoy the game, if you are looking for a rich role-playing experience. You could consider simply deactivating Tribunal, and playing the base game as it is. I have never used any graphics mods, so I can't comment on them. This has always been good enough for me and my personal playstyle (I do play a heavily modded version of Oblivion, because the base version alone demotivates me too much, but that's a different story).

The only plug-in's I use myself are Master Index + Journalfix (interesting quests + a convenient travel method) and the Tribunal Delay mod (complete main quest version) which I simply deactivate if / when I want to play Tribunal. Please be aware that you get attacked by these assassins regularly, until you start the Tribunal questline (unless you deactivate them).

Download the Bloodmoon Wolf Greaves Fix by Aedroth/Legion from to correct that problem.Korell: Any thoughts? I haven't used the level 6 mod, but it should be ok - if that's what you want. The groin mesh is still backwards on the bloodmoon greaves.the same mistakes were in the books in Daggerfall) These weren't fixed because if the Vvardenfell publishers want to print books with mistakes they should be able to (especially since they have been printed like that for many years. Didn't fix most spelling & grammar errors in books and scrolls.Fixes many other bugs and problems with the game.Add any objects that were not included in the ESM files, but were included on the game CDs.Correct any mesh or texture problems in the objects.Make quests be marked as Finished so they no longer appear in the Active Quest list when they should be.

Make global scripts end when they are no longer needed.Correct spelling & grammar mistakes in the dialogue and object names, and give them a uniform appearance.Fix any bugs in the quests that make them incompletable or skip you ahead. The Unofficial Morrowind Patch does following: (Note: You only need to download one of these) Requires Morrowind, Tribunal and Bloodmoon The goal of this patch is to make the game completely bug-free (within the abilities of the TESCS). While the official patches by Bethesda only fixed a couple of dozen bugs, this patch fixes several hundred. The Unofficial Morrowind Patch (UMP) fixes almost all of the bugs and problems with Morrowind and its expansions.
